Zipporah Hayes is a Miami native, is an international artist, mother, motivator, and inspiration to many. Bridging the
gap with no limits, cross cultural, deteriorating boundaries, and exhibiting absolute freedom, wherever her presence
enters, her voice is a force to be reckoned with. With the vision and motive of changing the world, Zipporah expresses
her most intimate moments in life through song. Bringing forth healing, restoration, and liberation, she connects and
communicates with the souls of her audiences. Zipporah has a voice with the ability to relieve anyone listening, she
carries her audience to a dimension where truth can be exposed and burdens lifted. Fearlessly, Zipporah is a lyricist that
one must experience. She takes her harmonic, melodic, jazzy, R&B, gospel, and simply hypnotic eclectic vocal abilities
and captures her audience desiring never to let them go.
Zipporah Hayes is one of the top ten finalists of the nationwide Most Powerful Voices Gospel singing
competition presented by the American Heart’s Association/American Stroke Association, GMC TV (Formerly the
Gospel Music Channel), Roland Corporation and Light Records. An experienced & privileged singer/songwriter who has
worked among South Florida’s Elite Producers and Pastors; Pastor Marc Cooper, Derrick ‘Bigg D’ Baker, A.J. Alexander,
Bobby Stringer, Dr. N. Cindy Trimm, Pastor Amelia Scott, Pastor Debbie Leaky, Kathryn L. Roberts, Felicia Franklin,
John Lester, Jay Wray, Craig Walden, and more. Zipporah also serves as an independent contractor for Ethnicity Models
& Talent as an Assistant Casting Director alongside C.E.O and Casting Director LaShawnna Stanley. As a former Ingram
Singer, student and affiliate of The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center in Miami, Charles R. Drew Middle School for
the Performing Arts Alumni, Gallery of Miami summer jazz singer/employee, Showtime at the Apollo contestant, Gifted
Talent Search Semi-Finalist, Music Director, and now Vocal Instructor at The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center,
Zipporah stands in a category of her own.
As one of the Vocal Instructors Zipporah has produced several thought provoking and powerful performances for
The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center Summer and Yearly Recitals, including Powerful community events for Dr.
Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, The Circle of Brothers Organization, The American Heart Association, and more. A heart
for our youth, Zipporah is constantly pouring and investing in our youth particulary with the newly developed Concert
Show entitled, “Entourage”; an annual debut concert for aspiring youth artists.
A member of Upper Room Ministries of Miami Gardens under the leadership of Pastor Marc Cooper and First Lady
Joy Cooper, Zipporah finds joy in rendering service as a member of The Stellar award winning Miami Mass Choir.
Gracing the Adrienne Arsht Center stage on Free Gospel Sundays as a member of the continuous featured Choir, The
Miami Mass Choir also recently named as The number 1 Choir in South Florida, Zipporah finds joy in sharing her gift
with this professional group of singers. Zipporah has been privileged to travel internationally with Dr. N. Cindy Trimm
of Trimm International, imprinting her vocal marks in Bermuda, Trinidad, and parts of the United States of America.
Zipporah has also shared the stage with main stream recording artists such as Nick Jonas, Yolanda Adams, Shirley Ceasar,
Kurt Carr, and many others. Starring in local plays such as, “How You Livin” (Youthful story of a troubled teen) written
and directed by Amelia L. Scott, performed in Bermuda, “I’m Single and I Need a Man” (based on a true story) written by
Trenice Griffin, and most recent, “Does He Even Love Me” Written and Directed by Moses Washington has shown
Zipporah can multi task various roles bringing them to life as she becomes the character. Zipporah’s drive and talent has
opened the door for an introduction onto the big screen being a part of the cast of Robert Townsend’s most recent film “
Playin For Love”.
Zipporah participates in several community organization functions throughout Miami Dade and Broward County. She
has a close understanding of dealing with the issues associated with heart conditions as her son was diagnosed with a
heart murmur since birth as well as the loss of her close friend, Mr. Anthony Mason of the New York Knicks. This has
been one of the main reasons why she is an annual participant and guest soloist of The American Heart Association
Heart Walk Miami and Broward County opening the festivities with, “The Star Spangled Banner” consecutively for 3
years. Zipporah also donates her time to the annual Susan G. Komen Walk Miami, JDRF Walk Miami, Aids Walk Miami,
and potentially The Domestic Violence Walk Miami. Annually Zipporah welcomes the crowd to the day’s festivities by
singing the National Anthem at the Heart Walk Miami held at Florida International University South Campus and The
Marlins Stadium as well as The Broward Heart Walk held at Nova Southeastern University. Zipporah continues to spread
the word about health & wellness within the community. A true believer that restoration, healing, and deliverance can all
be found in the love of the Father, Zipporah ministers this message to her audience locally and globally with a transparent
twist. Her transparent twist has allowed her the opportunity to share God’s message of unconditional love on stages such
as The Colony Theater in Miami Beach with former NBA Players, The Adrienne Arsht Theater with The Miami Mass
Choir, The Ray Charles Tribute, The Miami Symphony Orchestra, and more. Additional venues consist of, The Miami
Dade County Youth Fair, On The B-Side with Ingrid B at The Piano Bar located in The Hard Rock Casino, Ginger Bay
Café, BB Kings, The Miami Dade County Board of Commissioner’s Office, and more. Zipporah’s history of being
triumphantly victorious over tribulations, primarily love and other revelatory hardships of society and domestic violence
can be discovered in her previous released single, “Wonderful Love”. Her newly released single, “The Star Spangled
Banner” is currently available on iTunes, often compared to Whitney Houston. Zipporah’s vocal sultry is as sweet as the
taste of honey to a bee. With her eclectic vocal ability to sing a variety of musical styles and genres, Zipporah would
classify her genre style as “Unlimited”. When others are asking, “Is that really possible,” She is allowing her declaration to
be shown that “Yes, it really is possible.” With her greatly anticipated release of her 2nd single, “Reckless” and other
musical collaborations with local and international artists Zipporah is ready to set the mark.
For a beautiful, talented, multifaceted, lover of people, Zipporah never performs to receive great reviews or
commendation, but instead sings to make a difference in people’s lives. Her mandate is to let the city of Miami and the
world know that, “Your past does not define your future. Be your best self. The challenge is you. You are your own
competition” Zipporah’s a new breed who’s ready to roam the land with a new sound. Her diverse ability to go from
Sunday morning hymns to jazz, neo soul, pop, house, and other genres sets her apart from many. Zipporah is destined to
